    xKazaJinx's Guide to Psychopath (Lunatic Psyker)


    Few pointers I want to say before you read.
    1. This is all just my opinion from my experience from play LP since 1st Day of Add's Release back in June 24th, 2014.
    2. Most of the Info and Image will be taken from the Elwiki site.
    3. I hate 1v1s. So if my "Recommendation for 1v1" triggers you, go back to pointer 1.
    4. I love PvE/3v3s. If my "Recommendation for PvE or 2v2/3v3" triggers you, go back to pointer 1.
    5. Lastly, I really just wanted to show some of you guys that LP is the best Add class to start with before you go for MM or DiE.


    Special Ability: Dynamo Point System
    Spoiler:


    Unlike other characters' awakening, Add's awakening is called Dynamo Configuration Mode (DC Mode).

    • When he is not in DC Mode, every hit he does will charge up the DP gauge. When you have at least 100 DP, Add is able to awaken like any other character at the cost of 50 DP (DP consumption reduction will reduce this), dealing 300% magical damage to surrounding targets.
    • Some skills use DP instead of MP while some skills use both DP and MP.
    • While in DC mode, his stance (until you job change) and dynamos will be changed. Every hit he does will decrease the gauge. Pressing awaken hot key again will deactivate DC mode. Like awakening, Add will gain a damage boost when in DC Mode.
    • The gauge is not affected by mount attacks.
    • Going into DC mode will give it a cooldown of 5 seconds. A timer will appear where the letters "DP" are.
    • If you obtain a awakening potion in dungeons, instead of awakening, the DP gauge will increase.
    • This also applies when Fever triggers.
    • Unlike a normal awakening, when Add goes into DC mode, the screen will not freeze.
    • Add does, however, gain momentary invincibility.
    • When in DC mode, some skills that use DP will be no longer use any, whereas some skills will recover DP.
    • Different job advancements will have different DC mode poses.
    • When going into DC mode, enemies surrounding you will be damaged.



    Benefits of DC mode:
    • The standard 20% damage increase from awakening mode.
    • Able to execute Nasod Armor combo extensions depending on the job advancement.
    • Nasod Armor combo extensions have no knockdown value.
    • Able to reduce the usage of DP to 20% for a skill which uses DP.


    Dynamo Mutation Points
    • When Add goes into DC mode, 1 Dynamo Mutation Point (DMP) will be added to the slots below his portrait. DMP are used to power up his skills. Skills will only be boosted if Add is in Dynamo Configuration mode.


    Combo Commands:

    Hits twice with electrical shocks, pushes targets forward with a frequency hit and blasts them upwards.

    ZZZX
    Hits twice with electrical shocks, pushes targets forward with a frequency hit and turns them around with a twirl without knocking down.

    ZZXX
    Hits twice with electrical shocks, lifts targets and fires an electrical blast that knocks them away.

    XXX
    The Dynamos form an energy cannon allowing Add to kick 3 electrical blasts and knock away targets.

    XXZZ(Rapid Tap)
    Kicks 2 electrical blasts, dashes in with a frequency hit and gives targets a continuous electric shock by rapidly pressing Z

    ^Z
    Uses dynamos to create a high frequency which continuously damages targets.

    ^X
    Jumps and twirls dynamos around him, knocking down targets.

    >>ZZZ
    Pushes targets forward with a frequency hit and lifts targets, then blast them away.

    >>XXX
    Dashes forward with a frequency hit while teleporting behind targets, then pulls back slightly and blast them away.

    >>^ZZZ
    Triple particle blasts in the air without knocking down.

    >>^XX(Hold)
    Single frequency hit that lets Add spin around in the air, kick a blast shot and bounce himself backward. Holding down X(Hold) charges for a bigger shot.

    Loopable Moves:
    V(Hold)^X (Repeat) "Well take time to learn, but you'll get use to it."
    V(Hold)^Z (Repeat) "Pretty much the same but a lot more easier to learn, and useful for catching in PvP."
    XX>XX (Repeat) "Very Common"
    ZZ>ZZ (Repeat) "Common"
    >>Z>>Z (Repeat) "Best to do on a Boss"
    >>(Hold)^Z (Repeat) "Little hard to do, and harder when you do ^ZZ"
    >>(Hold)^X (Repeat) "Really hard to loop as it involves timing with ^X and when you repeat it."


    Other Stuff:

    Air Float:
    By pressing ^^, Add will be able to stand on top of his dynamos, allowing him to stay afloat as long as he wants. MP will be depleted while afloat and the rate at which it depletes will increase over time. While afloat, Add is able to execute a double jump by pressing ^ again.

    Air Dash:
    Unlike the other characters, Add's air dash is different. When Add air dashes, instead going downwards, he will 'fly' forward.

    In order to use Air Dash:
    • Dash off a platform
    • Dash after using Air Float
    • Jump, then dash
    • Dash and press ^ twice.

    By pressing ^ again while 'flying', Add can execute another forward jump, providing more coverage.

    [Special Active: Tenacity]
    Unlocked at Lv.1
    Final Enhanced [Lv.71]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.
    Left Trait [Lv.11]: Empowered [Damage increased to 130%]
    Right Trait [Lv.17]: Evil [Skill will burn 20 MP per hit]
    Recommendation for PvE: If you got a good and powerful weapon, it ok to use in Dungeon but not recommend. Use Empowered Trait
    Recommendation for 1v1: Somewhat good with Evil Trait but I don't really see MP Burn skill good unless it like -30~ MP Burn.
    Recommendation for 2v2: Really good to use for 2v2 fights. Highly recommend to use Evil Trait.
    Recommendation for 3v3: It OK when you need to poke some enemy out of combos to save your teammates. Use Empowered Trait.

    Phase Shift

    Final Enhanced [Lv.73]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.

    Damage decreased to 80%]
    Right Trait [Lv.19]: Useful [Max Hits increased
    Damage decreased to 70%]
    Recommendation for PvE: Unless your Trans, this skill isn't going to do much damage. But if your going to, use Useful.
    Recommendation for 1v1: Again, not much unless your Trans.
    Recommendation for 2v2: Ok, at this point, it can be use as a support skill to get the enemies off your teammates.
    Recommendation for 3v3: In 3v3s, it helpful for support and damage.

    Particle Accelerator

    [Special Active: Bravery]
    Unlocked at Lv.10
    Final Enhanced [Lv.74]: MP Usage is decreased by 20 and Cooldown is decreased by 5 seconds.
    Left Trait [Lv.14]: Gigantic [Skill size increased to 130%]
    Right Trait [Lv.21]: Heavy [Damage is increased to 140% but Cooldown is increased to 150%]
    Recommendation for PvE: Highly recommended, w/Heavy Trait.
    Recommendation for 1v1: Somewhat cause High Light Resist can make this skill useless, but use Gigantic.
    Recommendation for 2v2: It good if you can hit both players (if both don't have High Light Resist), use Gigantic.
    Recommendation for 3v3: It really good regardless of Light Resist, cause of it can stop combos dead in there tracks. Use Heavy Trait.

    Particle Prism

    [Special Active: Tenacity]
    Unlocked at Lv.15
    Final Enhanced [Lv.75]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.
    Left Trait [Lv.16]: Haste [Cooldown decreased to 80%]
    Right Trait [Lv.22]: Gigantic [Skill size increased to 120%]
    Recommendation for PvE: Not recommend, sure, you can trap a lot of mobs, but for what..? Use Gigantic at least then.
    Recommendation for 1v1: Great but they can escape with ease. Use Gigantic.
    Recommendation for 2v2: ^
    Recommendation for 3v3: ^^

    Neutron Bomb

    [Special Active: Bravery]
    Unlocked at Lv.20
    Final Enhanced [Lv.76]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.
    Left Trait [Lv.23]: Light [MP Usage decreased to 80%]
    Right Trait [Lv.26]: Empowered [Damage increased to 120%]
    Recommendation for PvE: Really useful to pull most of the mobs and nuke them. Use Empowered.
    Recommendation for 1v1: Useful but expect a MB after it so use Light.
    Recommendation for 2v2: Again, but use Empowered.
    Recommendation for 3v3: Use Light.

    Particle Shot

    [Active]
    Unlocked at Lv.20 and with Camilla's Secret Manual (Basic)
    Final Enhanced [Lv.77]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.
    Left Trait [Lv.24]: Enhanced [Critical Hit Rate increased to 100%
    Damage decreased to 80%]
    Right Trait [Lv.27]: Powerful [Super Armor added to the skill
    Cooldown increased to 150%]
    Recommendation for PvE: Super unless, don't use it in Dungeon.
    Recommendation for 1v1: It can somewhat help for getting in DP Combos. Use Powerful.
    Recommendation for 2v2: It stop being useful at 2v2s and 3v3s.

    2. Collect a Nasod Mechanical Device from Wally No.8 on 2-5: Wally's Castle on any difficulty.

    • Skills: Check skill description for skills applicable with the Nasod Armor Mode.
    • Commands: ZZZZ, ZZXX (1st Job), XXX, XXZZ~Z, >>ZZZ, >>XXX, >>^XX

    Damage is cancelled when hit during the Nasod Armor combo. Continue pressing to use Nasod Armor combo again.

    2nd job change (Lunatic Psyker) can activate basic ground combo attacks. The final combo hit triggers the Nasod Armor to activate.

    Pulse Cannon

    • Recommendation for PvE: Somewhat good if you need to keep your distance or to waste DP. Use Empowered.

    • Recommendation for 3v3: The skill falls off for catching but is great for ranged damage. Use Light.

    Dynamo Configuration - Pylons

    Final Enhanced [Lv.86]: Decrease time between hits.

    • Recommendation for 2v2: Only place 2 Orbs in between your enemies if there trapped by your teammate. Use Evil.
    • Recommendation for 3v3: Place every orb you can in different area (make sure there linked too). Someone will get hit by it. Use Evil.

    Final Enhanced [Lv.88]: Duration is increased for 15 to 20 seconds.

    • Recommendation for PvE: Very Good for wave clearing. Big AoE and High Damage. Use Gigantic.

    Particle Storm

    [Passive]
    Create energy storm particles when attacking or while being attacked. The storm particles damage the surrounding area but do not stun enemies. Stronger attacks generate stronger storm particles. Also lowers the knockdown rate of attacks and increases the MP Regen when in DC Mode (Awakening).

    Halfway through Psychic Tracer's ZZZ combo, you can choose to extend the combo by holding > and pressing Z to continuously punch up to a maximum of 22 hits instead of the final heavy punch. You may choose to stop halfway through the 22 punches by pressing X. The more punches executed, the faster the next set of punches will be.

    X>X(Rapid Tapping) Z
    Halfway through Psychic Tracer's XXX combo, you can choose to extend the combo by holding > and pressing X to continuously punch back and forth after the first kick. You may choose to stop halfway by pressing Z.

    • Recommendation for 1v1: Skill is great if you use it when your opponent mid-air, or during Psychic Storm Buff. Use Persistent.
    • Recommendation for 2v2: Not as good unless your team is base around cornering players, then go for it.
    • Recommendation for 3v3: Just don't.


    Conqueror

    [Special Active: Bravery]
    Unlocked at Lv.35
    Final Enhanced [Lv.91]: Cooldown is decreased by 7 seconds.
    Left Trait [Lv.49]: Enhanced [Critical Hit Rate increased to 100% but Damage decreased to 80%]
    Right Trait [Lv.57]: Heavy [Damage increased to 140% but Cooldown increased to 150%]
    • Recommendation for PvE: Another Core skill for PvE, but you can use both Enhanced (if you have High Crit Dmg increase but no Crit Hit Rate) or Heavy (if you have High Crit Hit Rate but no Crit Dmg increase)
    • Recommendation for 1v1: Great skill to use as a finisher. Use Heavy.
    • Recommendation for 2v2: ^
    • Recommendation for 3v3: Good skill for homing.

    Psychic Storm

    Final Enhanced [Lv.94]: Damage increased by 1.05 times per Mutation Point.

    • Recommendation for PvE: This is a Great Skill for wave clearing. Use Critical.
    • Recommendation for 1v1: Great skill for catching SA Spammer.
    • Recommendation for 2v2: Somewhat good but not that much.
    • Recommendation for 3v3: Meh. It 50/50 depended on what your up against.

    EMP Shock

    [Special Active: Strength]
    Unlocked at Lv.45 and with Camilla's Secret Manual (Advanced)
    Final Enhanced [Lv.96]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.
    Left Trait [Lv.53]: Gigantic [Skill size increased to 110%]

    • Recommendation for PvE: Useless cause it doesn't do much for Damage and the MP Burn isn't necessary. Use Gigantic at least.
    • Recommendation for 1v1: Fun skill to troll with as it reset all skill cooldown to max of 20s. Use Light.
    • Recommendation for 2v2: Helpful for the MP Burn and Skill Cooldown effect.
    • Recommendation for 3v3: Best to use it the moment you can get it. Use Gigantic.

    Psionic Beat

    [Active]
    Unlocked at Lv.50
    Final Enhanced [Lv.97]: Damage is increased by 1.2 times.
    Left Trait [Lv.54]: Empowered [Damage increased to 120%]
    Right Trait [Lv.63]: Ruthless [Skill will cancel Mana Break but Cooldown is increased to 200%]
    • Recommendation for PvE: Great Skill as it "somehow" as increase Attribute Proc chance. Use Empowered.
    • Recommendation for 1v1: Skill as a bad delay for finishing it so best not to use it. Use Ruthless.
    • Recommendation for 2v2: Good skill to stop MBs during team combos.
    • Recommendation for 3v3: ^

    Quicksilver Accel

    [Special Active: Tenacity]
    Unlocked at Lv.55
    Final Enhanced [Lv.98]: Doesn't use Mutation Points in DC Mode.

    Item Sets


    Secret Dungeon Sets:

    Mechanized MK-5 (Elder SD)

    Recommendation for PvE: The Defense increase buff IMO is really ♥♥♥♥ for someone squishy like Add. And the 35% HP Buff isn't helpful for Dungeon too.
    Recommendation for PvP: In Sparring, the 35% HP Buff can be really helpful as sparring make Add Damage really powerful. In Arena, the Defense and 35%
    HP Buff can be somewhat helpful but not a lot if your not rocking a high amount of Red Damage (25%+ at least)

    Dragonic-Fear (Bethma SD)

    Recommendation for PvE: WHO SAID THIS WAS A GOOD SET?!?! WAS IT YOU?!?! *Points to 제르비스* Jokes aside, the set isn't so bad for Dungeons if you need the 100% Critical Chance over just socket for Critical Stat. But the 10% Awk. Charge increase only works for when your being hit during DC Mode cause you don't get DP in DC Mode when attacking.
    Recommendation for PvP: The set can help for Crit and Damage but I don't really like it as it make you feel more squishy then before.

    Alterasia TYPE_S (Altera SD)

    Recommendation for PvE: If your going to run this is for Dungeons, then use Fire 4, Water 4, or Wind 4 then. As the set increase Attribute Proc Chance by 5% (2% at Elite grade). Other then that, the increase Attack Speed and MP Gain when attacking can really help.
    Recommendation for PvP: This set is really great for PvP if your running Fire 4, Wind 4, or Dark 4 for the increase Attribute Proc Chance and the increase Attack Speed and MP Gain when attacking by 30% can really come in handy.

    Glitter Warlord (Velder SD)

    Recommendation for PvE: Meh, The Procs on this set can be helpful for Damage but the 100% Red Damage isn't if your taking this into Heroics.
    Recommendation for PvP: "This is meta now" - Every other Add beaten. Don't. It not.

    Ancient Noble Guardian (Hamel SD)

    Recommendation for PvE: This Set holds a special in my heart as it was the best set for everything. It Damage increase is great, the Defense increase act as a "Shield" (ex. Wonder Wall) and the MP Regen increase is helpful if you don't have a Magic Necklace.
    Recommendation for PvP: The set as it is, is really great for PvP. (Fun Fact: This set is what got me to SS in S3 and S4)
    Sorry if I'm alil bias with this set, but I have nothing bad to say about it. It was that good for me.

    Sand Tempest (Sander SD)

    Recommendation for PvE: Ohh boi, how should I trash talk this set. AHHHHHH.... O wait, It actually good in Dungeons... Yea, the Damage increase to Seal Restraint enemies is actually really helpful.
    Recommendation for PvP: The Seal Restraint isn't really good for PvP as it doesn't stop MB or them attacking. But the Increase Movement Speed and Attack Speed Proc does help thou.

    Dark Force Slayer (Lanox SD)

    Why... Why is Grendized/Enhanced Green and Normal Blue...? Why isn't it the other way around...?
    Recommendation for PvE: Hmmmmmm... Can't say much, as I have no experience with this set on any character. (I don't remember how I felt about it too when the COBO ver. was given during Lanox SD release.)
    Recommendation for PvP: ^^^


    End Game Gear (Raid, Henir, Savior, Heroics, etc.)

    OK so Recommendation for PvE/PvP is going to stop here. As End Game set is were we just get specific on how you set it up for PvE and PvP.
    Raid Gear

    The Gear is best at Unique or Legendary so you better have the Legendary, other then that, Use the Perky Weapon with the Eltrion MK2 Acc (Wind/Dark ver. are the best) combo for the maximum damage output for PvE and PvP. (The Necklace can have a Magic Necklace Upgraded to it, and the Ring can have a Skill Ring Upgraded to it.)

    Apocalypse Type - Void Weapon

    ... Your Add... You Made this weapon... Why don't you have it yet... (Your one to talk - Everyone reading this)
    This is the most powerful weapon possible to get in Elsword. If you can, get 2.
    Stat one with Maximize on everything (Random Effect and Socket) and get Dark 4 on it. This is what you'll be looking for in PvP.
    Stat the other for Maximize on everything (Random Effect and Socket) and get Fire 4, Water 4, Wind 4, or Dark 4 on it. This is what you'll be looking for in PvE.

    Henir Set

    ^Old 4D Set I know but no one updated the Henir page at Elwiki so the new 1D to 4D set showed^
    The Full Set is best for PvP, so if your going to bring this into Sparring, Socket heavily on Add Damage. If your going to take this into Arena, then get Dark 4,
    Socket for Highest amount of Maximize on the Weapon and Add/Red Damage for the Armor (Add if your going for full damage or Red if your going Defense and Damage).

    Heroic - Savior

    This Set is great for working up to Heroic Hell Set, So don't focus too hard on stating it up for Dungeons as you will be replacing it for Heroic Hell Set.
    But don't throw it away, save it for other new characters so you don't have to use SD Gear for them instead.
    Don't worry about the Heroic Presence. If your going to thou, then just look at the Heroic Hell Set for one you'll need to look for.

    Heroic Hell Set

    The Ultimate PvE Set IMO, It can be great for PvP too but it depends on your Heroic Presence. So we'll just talk about that.
    There are 3 Different Heroic Hell Sets: Warth (Skill Damage), Wisdom (MP Cost Red), and Vision (Skill Cooldown Red)
    For PvE, you want 2 Warth Pieces and 2 Wisdom (Get one more of either if you don't have Raid/Type-Void Wep)
    Don't worry too much about it Rank (but at least get 15+)
    The Top, Gloves, and Shoes, should be anything range form "Damage increase" to "Skill cooldowns"
    The Bottoms should ALWAYS be a Party Effect, look for Magical Power, Add Dmg, Maximize, or Critical Increase to all party members.
    All can give one Specific skill a 10% increase but it can range form Base Elsword to Trans 3rd Path Ain skills (expect on the Weapon), so just hope you get a Base/PT/LP Skill Increase that you use for PvE
    For PvP, you want 2 Warth and 2 Wisdom if your going Damage, or 2 Wisdom and 2 Vision if you need resources manage. (Get one more of either if you don't have Raid/Type-Void Wep)
    Try and get Heroic Rank 30 (Really hard but try)
    Most of the Effects in the Heroic Presence are for Dungeons so we have to skip this.
    The Bottoms (if you can) should be a Party Effect, but not Magical Power increase thou.
    Like the PvE talk, just hope ok. Just. Hope.

    Lanox:
    Ruler of Dryad Set

    Set terribly for PvP as you don't even get the use it effect. For Dungeon, it a meh.

    Artisan's Touch Set

    It somewhat good, best for PvP if your going to go Defense and Damage.

    Sirena's Jewel Set

    It best to get this set for PvE if you don't got a Magic Necklace as it take a Necklace slot.

    Ignia's Accessories Set

    Probably the best Accessory Set you can get for Pure Damage

    Ifritan's Binding Stone Set

    If the DP Gain and Consumption worked in PvP, I would be back on the Pure Tank LP Road again. (Basically 50% DP Gain, 40% Consumption, and 45%
    Red Damage)

    Scar's Necessity Set

    Probably the best Sparring Accessory set cause of the amount of Add Damage you get form this set. Total of 1859 @Lv.90+ aka 13%, this is not counting the random chance of getting Add Damage on the Random Effect.

    Atlas:
    Dekal's Research Equipment Set

    Set great for getting DP Gain and Maximize.

    Surveillan Components Set

    Not good for a Pure Defense set up as it take a necklace slot.

    Maya's Armor Set

    Meh, it damage increase isn't good compare to Ignia's so if you want it, go for it.

    Elysion:
    Herna's Dark Set

    Since your Spec A is just more DP Consumption, it only good for Damage.

    Herbaon's Gold Set

    Since your Spec B is DP Gain per DMP used, it a really good all-around set.

    Solace's Dark Red Sun Set

    A better set for PvP if you don't want Scar's Necessity Set.

    Nocturn of Hernia

    The God Accessory. Only Drop from Solace True Ending (Killing Solace in 60 Sec once Phase 2 starts)
    This set is a god for PvE and PvP, as it can recover 30% HP after getting 5 stacks of El's Recovery Aura. It can also be paired with the Solace's Dark Red Sun Set to keep the 3/3 Effect going.

    Sun Master Set

    Meh, it a good all-around set.
